Iced Tea Whiskey Slush

Ingredients

  • Tea
  • Sugar
  • Lemon
  • Fresh Mint
  • 30ml Flavoured Whiskey
  • Ice

Method

  1. Boil water in a kettle.
  2. Steep the tea: Place the tea bags in 1 cup of hot water and let it sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Sweeten the tea: While the tea is still warm, stir in the white sugar so it dissolves completely.
  4. Add lemon: Squeeze the juice from 1/4 of a lemon and mix it into the tea.
  5. Chill the tea: Let the tea cool in the fridge for 15-30 minutes.
  6. Add whiskey: Pour in your flavored whiskey of choice.
  7. Blend the slush: Add the chilled tea and whiskey mixture into a blender with 1 cup of ice. Blend until the mixture reaches a slushy consistency.
  8. Serve: Pour the slush into a glass.
  9. Garnish: Add lemon wedges and a sprig of fresh mint to garnish.
